Behind The Scenes

Owners of Wallops Wood standing in front of the surrounding fields and hedgerows at Wallops Wood Cottages

Our picture shows Katherine and Andrew Graham, owners of Wallops Wood in Hampshire.

Katherine’s family have been farmers here since 1938. The family diversified the farm estate into lettings of offices and light industrial units. We have a photographer, a baker, a care company, and Bowman Ales brew beers here too!

In 2014 and 2018, farm barns on the site of the Old Hambledon Racecourse were converted to holiday cottages and the swimming pool complex. As a nod to the history of the site and the racecourse, each cottage at Wallops Wood Cottages is named after a Grand National Winners.

In 2022, Grenville at Wallops Wood opened and comprises three beautiful holiday houses in a leafy woodland site, a mile away from Wallops Wood Cottages. All the houses are accessible accommodation with wetrooms and have access to the indoor heated pool and jacuzzi with accessible hoist, sauna and steam room at Wallops Wood Cottages.

The cottages and houses have a home-from-home atmosphere, with the emphasis on ‘access for all’ irrespective of age or physical ability.

Wallops Wood has won several awards and we are proud to have achieved so much in such a short time. In 2018, we won Dog Friendly Business of the Year, and in 2020, we won National Self Catering Accommodation of the Year Award Silver.

Our great team will do everything they can to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable.

We look forward to welcoming you to Wallops Wood in the beautiful Hampshire South Downs.
